December 26: The new Chairman of Coal India Limited (CIL) Sutirtha Bhattacharya is likely to take charge by beginning of January 2015, officials in CIL said on December 26.
“We have not yet heard about his joining date, but most probably he will join in the first week of January, 2015,” the official said.
Bhattacharya’s name was recommended for the post of CIL CMD by Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) after interviewing a total of 12 candidates, including three from CIL, in New Delhi on November 18.
