Nil coal handling by Cochin Port in December

There was no handling of coal by Cochin Port in December 2015, as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW. Incidentally there was 44,000 tons of coal handled by this port in the month of November 2015.

However, during the first nine months (April-December) of 2015-16, coal handling by this stood at 88,000 tons, showing a fall of 10.20% against 98,000 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

There was no coal handing by the port in December 2014.
