Nil coal handling done by Cochin Port in November

December 28: There was no handling of coal by Cochin Port in November 2015, as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW.

However, during the first eight months (April-November) of 2015-16, coal handling by this stood at 44,000 tons, showing a fall of 55.10% against 98,000 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

There was no coal handing by the port in November 2014.
