October 31: G-11 grade of coal was not offered for allotment through the MSTC platform during the month of September 2014. However, strong demand was witnessed in August for this grade offered by CCL as the entire offered quantity of 53,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,402 per ton.
Similar demand was witnessed in July 2014 for this grade as the entire offered quantity of 42,500 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,723 per ton.
