No anthracite imports in October via Krishnapatnam

November 11: There were no imports of anthracite coal via Krishnapatnam Port in the month of October 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

Incidentally, after a two-month gap, imports of anthracite coal via this port had resumed with 39,300 tons in September 2015.

For the first seven month (April-October) of the current fiscal (2015-16), anthracite imports through Krishnapatnam Port stood at 177,680 tons while 5,000 tons had been imported in the same period of last fiscal.

In September, the entire consignment came from Russia at a price range of Rs 5,612- Rs 6,111 ($85-$91)
