No anthracite imports via Kolkata Port in February

There were no anthracite coal imports through the port of Kolkata in February 2016 although these had surged to a whopping 23,001 tons in January 2016 against a mere 40 tons in December 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
Anthracite imports, through this port, in general, have shown an erratic trend this fiscal so far.
In February 2015, volumes were at a very low 201 tons.
Total imports of the material in the first 11 months of the current fiscal of 2015-16 dropped 5.54% year-on-year to 142,052 tons compared to 150,387 tons seen in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Imports for fiscal 2014-15 were at 160,627 tons.
