November 28: No demand was witnessed for the 500 tons of G-9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL through the MSTC platform in October 2014.
On the other hand, strong demand was seen for this grade in September 2014, as out of the 34,475 tons offered, 34,470 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,649 per ton.
In August, however, moderate demand was seen for this grade as out of the 500 tons offered, 300 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,572 per ton.
