September 24: There were no met coke imports through Chennai Port in August 2014, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
In July, met coke imports through the port were at a mere 94 tons while there had been no imports of the material between April-June, 2014.
In July, the material arrived from China at a unit price of Rs 19,099 ($318).
