June 11: There were no met coke imports through the port of Vizag in May, 2014.
With this, there have been no met coke imports for the last four months in calendar 2014, as per provisional data available with ICMW. However, in January, the volume was at 4,535 tons.
In January, 4,330 tons had arrived from Italy in a price band of Rs 14,583-Rs14,701- ($234-$236) per ton while the balance 205 tons arrived from China at a unit price of Rs 19,161 ($308).
