As in November, there were no offerings of G13 grade (GCV of 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) grades of coal on the e-auction platform of coaljunction by Coal India (CIL) subsidiaries in December 2015, according to data available with ICMW.
However, strong demand was witnessed for G13 grade, offered by MCL, a subsidiary of Coal India (CIL), in the October e-auctions as the entire offered quantity of 700,200 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 131.
