November 23: As in the previous month of September, G1 grade (GCV above 7,000 Kcal/kg) coal was not offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment via MSTC’s e-auction platform in October 2015, as per data available with ICMW.
However, moderate demand was witnessed for G1 grade coal offered for allotment via MSTC’s e-auction platform in August 2015 as out of the entire offered quantity of 18,000 tons, 7,730 tons got allotted but at a weighted average price of Rs 5,633 per ton.
