There were no imports of pet coke through Karaikal Port in January 2016, while the same stood at 112,623 tons in December 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
With the imports in December, total pet coke imports through the port during the first 10 months (April-January) of 2015-16 stood at 925,778 against a volume of 122,540 tons recorded in the same period of the previous year.

In December 2015, a volume of 54,789 tons came from Saudi Arabia at Rs 3,191 ($47) per ton while details of the remaining 57,744 tons were not available.
