December 15: There have been no pet coke imports via Gangavaram Port in November 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW. A volume of 126,025 tons of the material was imported via this port in October 2015.
For the first eight months (April-November) of the current fiscal (2015-16), pet coke imports via the port stood at 297,861 tons against 657,381 tons recorded in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In October 2015, a volume of 26,500 tons came in from China at a price range of Rs 18,162-Rs 18,163 ($278) per ton and 99,525 tons from the US at Rs 4,954-Rs 5,062 ($76-$77) per ton.
