November 11: There were no steam coal imports through Kankinada Port in October, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
After a two-month lag, a total of 119,035 tons of steam coal had been imported through Kakinanda in September.
Of the total consignments in September, around 40,272 tons had come in from South Africa at an assessed price of Rs 4,092 ($61) per ton, while the origin and price of the balance 78,763 tons was not immediately available.
