November 11: Imports of petroleum coke via Krishnapatnam Port were down 38.84% to 79,429 tons in October 2015 against a volume of 129,875 tons for the month of September, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For first seven months (April-October) of the current fiscal (2015-16), pet coke imports through Krishnapatnam Port stood at 811,277 tons while imports of the commodity through the port in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15) were at 658,911 tons.

In October, the entire amount of 79,429 tons came from the United States at a price range of Rs 5,181-Rs 7,977 ($78-$122) per ton.
In September, however, a volume of 125,416 tons came from the United States at a price range of Rs 4,893-Rs 6,816 ($74-$102) per ton while details of the balance 4,459 tons were not available.
