April 1: PCI coal imports via New Mangalore Port stood at 1,03,526 tons in February, 2015, up by a huge 572.75% compared to 15,400 tons imported in January 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
During February, the entire volume arrived from Australia at a price range of Rs 6,757-Rs 6,828 ($108-$110) per ton.
