Paradip Port February coal handling rises 6.84% m-o-m

Handling of coal (imports of coking and non-coking coal and exports of non-coking coal) by Paradip Port stood at 3,821,118 tons in February 2016, edging up 6.84% from 3,576,486 tons in January 2016, as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW.

However, during the first 11 months (April-February) of 2015-16, coal handling by this port stood at 35,718,339 tons, showing a rise of 3.63% from 34,467,350 tons in the same period of 2014-15.

Similarly, handling of coal by the port in February 2015 stood at 2,805,350 tons, rising 36.21% y-o-y.
