Pet coke imports through Paradip Port in February 2016 were at 47,252 tons while the preceding month of January 2016 saw 15,435 tons of the commodity coming in, showing a sharp spurt of more than 206%, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In February 2016, a volume of 12,252 tons arrived from Indonesia at a unit price of Rs 12,252 ($177) and 35,000 tons from Saudi Arabia at a unit price of Rs 2,646 ($39).
In January 2016, a volume of 12,995 tons arrived from Kuwait at a unit price of Rs 14,110 ($210) and 2,440 tons from Saudi Arabia at a unit price of Rs 4,701 ($70).
