Paradip steam coal exports see dry run for 13 months

Even as domestic production of steam coal is rising in India, most of it is getting consumed by the domestic user-industries. Consequently, there have been no steam coal exports through Paradip Port from February 2015-March 2016, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

In January 2015, a reduced volume of 16,300 tons had been exported against a heftier 32,400 tons in December 2014.
