Imports of pet coke through Karaikal Port remained almost flat month-on-month at 112,623 tons in December 2015 as compared to 113,989 tons in November, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
With the imports in December, total pet coke imports through the port during the first nine months (April-December) of 2015-16 stood at 925,778 against a volume of 73,600 tons recorded in the same period in the previous year.

In December 2015, a volume of 54,789 tons came from Saudi Arabia at Rs 3,191 ($47) per ton while details of the remaining 57,744 tons were not available.
In November 2015, a volume of 52,190 mt came from Saudi Arabia at Rs 3,578 ($54) per ton while details of the remaining 67,799 tons were not available.
