Pet coke imports via Vizag spurt 96% in Dec

January 15: Pet coke imports through Vizag Port increased sharply by 95.78% to 59,757 tons in December 2014 against 30,522 tons in November, according to provisional information available with ICMW.

In December, 26,193 tons arrived from China in a price band of Rs 8,896 – 26,513 ($139 -415) per ton, while 33,564 tons came from the US at a unit price of Rs 8,771 ($140).

In November, two consignments arrived from China in a band of Rs 8,542 – Rs 11,761 ($138-190) per ton.
