Poor demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G9 grade coal (GCV ranging between 4,601-4,900 Kcal/kg) on the coaljunction platform in January 2016 as out of the entire offering of 155,000 tons by CCL, only 9,660 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,572 per ton, according to data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of poor demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G9 grade coal on the coaljunction platform in December 2015 as out of the entire offering of 245,000 tons by CCL and WCL, only 14,400 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,827 per ton.
Likewise, poor demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G9 grade on coaljunction in November 2015 as out of the entire offering of 253,200 tons by CCL and WCL, only 9,340 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,942 per ton.
