After a gap of one month, poor demand was witnessed for mixed grades as out of an offered quantity of 110,000 tons by Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL), only 16,950 tons were allotted through coaljunction in February 2016 at a weighted average of Rs 2,727 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
There was no offering of mixed grades in January 2016 on coaljunction, according to data available with ICMW.
However, there was better demand for mixed grades in December 2015 on coaljunction as out of the 85,900 tons offered by WCL, 52,480 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,316 per ton.
