Poor demand was witnessed in March 2016 for G16 (GCV 2,501 to 2,800 Kcal/kg) grade offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of 100,000 tons, 17,500 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 732 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of poor demand was witnessed in February 2016 for G16 grade offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of 100,000 tons, 15,370 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 732 per ton.
However, very strong demand was witnessed in January 2016 for G16 grade offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of 690,000 tons, 611,940 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 741 per ton.
