February 4: Following cues from global indices like CAC, DAX and FTSE as well as the Indian Sensex, some of the power scrips on S&P BSE Power closed in the green on February 4. However, the remaining power stocks still remained in red.
The S&P BSE Power index closed at 1,724.17 on February 4, 2016, up 14.37 (0.84%) points from the previous close of 1,709.80.
On February 4, the market opened at 1,728.42 and Thursday’s range was from 1,703.39 to 1740.55.
A number of stocks gained such as ABB India, BHEL and Power Grid while Reliance Infra, NHPC and Adani Power closed in the red.
