SCCL’s January despatches at 4.539 mt

February 10: Singareni Colliers Company Limited (SCCL) has reported total coal despatches of 4.539 million tons (mt) in January 2014, which is marginally below the December figure of 4.568 mt, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

January despatches, however, were higher than 3.59 mt recorded in the same month a year ago, the data showed.

During the 10 months ended January 2014, the coal miner despatched a total of 38.798 mt of coal, higher than 31.19 mt recorded for the same period last year.
