Very low demand was witnessed in the special forward e-auction conducted by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) on coaljunction in January 2016.
A total for 820,000 tons of coal was offered by the company for sale through forward e-auction on coaljunction of which 123,000 tons got allotted, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
The company had offered G11 and G12 grades and the entire allotment took place at a average price of Rs 1,650 per ton.
