The standing linkage committee (Long Term) or SLC (LT) on power, cement and sponge iron sector will meet on January 27 to review the status of existing coal linkages/LoAs.
The meeting will take place at a time when the government is planning to come out with auction of linkages to non-power sector consumers.
An Inter-Ministerial Committee was formed in January 2015 to devise ways for auction of linkages.
