April 28: The State Trading Corporation of India Ltd (STC) has floated a tender for sale of around 19,200 tons of pledged low ash metallurgical (met) coke from the CWC godown of Balasore Alloys Limited in Odisha.
The material will be sold on “as is where is and ex-godown basis”.
The last date for submission of bids is May 19, 2015.
STC had imported the material for use by Balasore Alloys Ltd but the company was unable to utilise the same because of difficult market conditions and thus it will be sold to the highest bidder, a source told ICMW.
