Skipper receives Rs 200-crore order from Powergrid

Skipper Ltd, a global manufacturer for power transmission and distribution structures, has bagged a new order worth around Rs 200 crore from Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (PGIL), a navaratna company.

Skipper is also a player in water infrastructure in India.

The company has placed proposals for contracts worth another Rs 300 crore with Powergrid. These orders are predominantly for supply of 765 kv double circuit transmission towers to various Powergrid projects and transmission line constructions on a turnkey basis.
