December 18: Spot prices of steam coal in all major markets remained soft on December 17 in the absence of major deals, market sources said
Reports that China is planning to reduce the export tax on coal to 3% from 10% with effect from January 1, 2015 also affected sentiment, particularly for low grade Indonesian coal, they said
