September 15: The weak trend continued in the international coal markets on September 12 as buyers shied away from making fresh commitments, market sources said.
Prices of standard grade coal in South Africa were down by $0.25 per ton whereas other markets showed a flat trend. Also, freight rates moved lower compared to the previous closing.
