March 17: Spot prices of South African standard coal as well as Australian steam coal dipped on March 16 amidst ample availability and not-so-encouraging demand, market sources said.
Indonesian prices, on the other hand, remained largely stable with normal activities.
Indian traders are believed to be not entering into fresh major deals as they have ample material available at ports in stocks and for sale, they added.
