February 10: Spot prices of South African steam coal (6,000 NAR) continued to firm up in the international markets on February 9 and touched a one-month high of $64.80, primarily on speculative deals, market sources said.
Seaborne coking coal prices showed softness amid ample supply and reports that the iron ore market will remain oversupplied in 2015, they added.
