February 27: South African coal prices eased marginally on February 26 in the absence of fresh commitments from Chinese and Indian buyers, market sources said.
Although the Lunar New Year celebrations are over, the Chinese buyers remained conspicuous by their absence. Also, Indian buying was low amid high coal stocks at the plant level.
