December 10: In November 2015, steam coal imports via Karaikal Port stood at 137,830 tons, up 21.59% from 113,356 tons reported in October, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
Total imports of steam coal through the port during the first eight months (April-October) of 2015-16 stood at 612,614 tons. Details of steam coal imports through the port during the corresponding period of 2014-15 are not available with ICMW.
