May11: Imports of non-coking coal via Magdalla Port were down marginally in April 2015 to 422,740 tons from 423,015 tons in March 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
A volume of 475,654 tons of non-coking coal was imported via Magdalla Port in April, 2014.

In April 2015, a volume of 54,003 tons came from Australia at a price range of Rs 5,420 to Rs 6,260 ($86-$99), 19,000 tons from Indonesia at a price range of Rs 2,923 -Rs 4,070 ($53-$54) per ton and 3,49,737 tons were imported from other places as well.
In March 2015, a volume of 70,000 tons came from Australia at a price range of Rs 6,260 to Rs 6,447 ($99-$103), 17,000 tons came from Indonesia at a price range of Rs 3,310 -Rs 3,407 ($46-$64) per ton and 336,015 tons were imported from other places as well.
