January 8: Imports of non-coking coal via Magdalla Port stood at 56,014 tons during the month of December 2014 against 1,000 tons recorded during November, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In December 2014, 40,000 tons came from Australia at a price of Rs 6,542 ($100-$102) per ton, 7,500 tons came from Indonesia at a price of Rs 3,411 ($54) per ton amongst others.
However, during November, the entire material came in from Indonesia at a price of Rs 3,876 ($62) per ton.
