July 30: Very good demand was witnessed in June 2014 for G-11 grade (GCV 4,001 to 4,300 Kcal/kg) coal offered by SECL, CCL and MCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as the out of an offered quantity of 415,000 tons, 405,350 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,116 per ton.
Strong demand was witnessed in May 2014 for this grade offered by CCL and SECL for allotment through the same platform as the out of an offered quantity of 400,000 tons, 398,950 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,110 per ton.
However, very strong demand was witnessed in April 2014 for G-11 grade coal offered by MCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as the entire offered quantity of 680,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,607 per ton.
A very strong demand was also witnessed in March 2014 for G-11 grade coal offered by MCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as the entire offered quantity of 80,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,142 per ton.
