September 4: There was strong demand for G-12 grade coal in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform during August 2013 as 171,450 tons of the offered quantity of 180,450 tons got allotted.
The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,084 per ton.
However, in July 2013, the entire offered quantity of 730,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,370 per ton.
