September 26: Strong demand was witnessed for G-16 grade of coal (GCV 2,501-2,800 Kcal/Kg) offered for allotment by CCL via the e-auction platform of MSTC during the month of August 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 50,000 tons of coal got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 743 per ton.
During last month, this grade was not offered.
