July 30: A strong demand was witnessed in June 2014 for G-17 grade (GCV 2,201 to 2,500 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as the entire offered quantity of 50,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 649 per ton.
