June 25: A strong demand was witnessed in May 2014 for G-17 grade (GCV 2,201 to 2,500 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as the entire offered quantity of 40,000 tons of coal got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 825 per ton.
