Strong demand was witnessed for G10 grade coal (GCV range of 4,301 - 4,600 Kcal/kg) offered by SECL, WCL and CCL for allocation through coaljunction in December 2015, as out of the entire offering of 375,000 tons, 357,840 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,576 per ton, according to data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of strong demand was witnessed for G10 grade coal offered by SECL and CCL for allocation through coaljunction in November 2015, as out of the entire offering of 165,000 tons, 150,200 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,942 per ton.
However, no demand was witnessed for G10 grade coal offered by NCL and CCL for allocation through coaljunction in October 2015, as there was no bid for the offered quantity of 315,000 tons.
