December 23: Strong demand was witnessed in November 2015 for G16 (GCV 2,501 to 2,800 Kcal/kg) grade offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of 140,000 tons, 113,880 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,045 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of strong demand was witnessed in October 2015 for G16 grade offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of 80,000 tons, 77,560 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,068 per ton.
However, G16 grade was not offered in September 2015 by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through the MSTC platform.
