Torrent Power posts net of Rs 57.01 cr in Q2

November 6: Torrent Power Limited has posted a net profit of Rs 57.01 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2014, sharply up from the net loss of Rs 26.07 crore posted during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a company statement.

The company’s total income from operations during the quarter stood at Rs 2,680.23 crore, sharply up from Rs 2,241.77 crore earned in Q2 of FY14.

On the other hand, expenses stood at Rs 2,423.79 crore in Q2 of FY15, higher from Rs 2,060.25 crore incurred during Q2 of FY14, as per the statement.
