December 10: Imports of pet coke via V O Chidambaranar Port (Tuticorin Port) stood at 83,988 tons in November 2015, showing an increase of 6.33% from 78,989 tons imported in October 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first eight months (April-November) of the current fiscal (2015-16), pet coke imports via this port stood at 690,949 tons while 149,664 tons were imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In November 2015, 15,000 tons came in from the US at a price range of Rs 5,024- Rs 5,128 ($76-$77) per ton and 68,988 tons from other locations at price ranges not available.
In October 2015, 55,000 tons came in from Saudi Arabia at a price of Rs 3,201 ($49) per ton, 19,000 tons came in from the US at a price range of Rs 5,024-Rs 5,777 ($77-$87) per ton and 4,989 tons from other locations at price ranges not available.
