January 8: Imports of pet coke via V O Chidambaranar Port stood at 59,551 tons during the month of December 2014, much higher than 10,000 tons imported in November 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
During the month of December, 20,379 tons came in from USA at a price range of Rs 6,964-Rs 7,114 ($106-$111) per ton amongst others whereas in November, the entire material came in from the US at a price of Rs 6,897 ($111) per ton.
