November 5: G9 grade coal (GCV ranging between 4,601-4,900 Kcal/kg) offered on the coaljunction e-auction platform in October 2014 met with strong demand as the entire offered quantity of 61,800 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,353/ton.
This grade also met with strong demand in September as out of the offered quantity of 32,600 tons, 32,400 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,236/ton.
The same grade offered in August 2014 also met similar demand as the entire offered quantity of 68,370 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,402/ton.
