April 28: A very strong demand was witnessed in March, 2015 for G12 grade (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries as out of 975,000 tons, 974,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,376 per ton.
A similar kind of very strong demand was witnessed in February, 2015 for G12 grade coal as the entire offered quantity of 425,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,682 per ton.
Fair demand was witnessed in January as out of the entire offered quantity of 864,000 tons, 825,310 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,583 per ton.
However, very strong demand was witnessed for this grade offered in December as the entire offered quantity of 925,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,612 per ton.
During November, this grade was not offered for allotment via this platform.
